4th place finish for Red Deer’s Griffith at Alberta Senior Men’s Championship

Red Deer Golf and Country Club’s Ken Griffith had a stellar showing at this week’s Alberta Senior Men’s Championship at Desert Blume in Medicine Hat.

Griffith, who shot 70-74-77, finished +4, good enough for 4th place, and just two strokes back of the winner.

Griffith entered the final day in a three-way tie for first, and in fact there was a four-way tie for the lead with just four holes to go. Over those final four, Griffith shot, bogey, par, bogey, birdie.

Despite the hazardous final round, he did make the interprovincial team.
