Restrictions to airspace and marine exclusion zone for Papal visit

During Pope Francis’ visit to Alberta next week, RCMP have announced the following Airspace Restrictions and Marine Exclusion Zone that are being instituted.

Mounties say these airspace restrictions apply to all aircraft and drones, while the marine exclusions apply to all small and powered watercraft.

Alberta RCMP and provincial partners will be enforcing a Marine Exclusion Zone along the shoreline at the Pilgrimage site (3510 Ste. Anne Trail) at Lac Ste. Anne.

Boaters are asked to avoid the area for the duration of the day.
