Westerner Days kicks-off central Alberta’s largest summer celebration

Jul 19, 2022 | 5:52 PM

Westerner Days Fair & Exposition kicks off this Wednesday, July 20, and will run daily from 12:00 p.m.-12:00 a.m. through Sunday, July 24.

Westerner Park officials say Westerner Days is an opportunity for people to reconnect with friends, family, and their community at Central Alberta’s Largest Summer Celebration, with thanks to local sponsors and organizations that enable Westerner Days to provide value for all fair-goers.

Servus Credit Union returns as a long-time Platinum sponsor, this year as Day Sponsor of Saturday, July 23 and Title Sponsor of the Servus International Pavilion.

New to the fair, the Servus International Pavilion will host many local cultural groups and organizations.

“With their history of contributing to the well-being of our communities, Servus is a natural partner for this initiative,” says Mike Olesen, CEO of Westerner Park. “Thousands of people attend Westerner Days, and we wanted to provide this opportunity for the many local cultural organizations to share their unique customs and celebrations.”

Located in the Exhibition Hall, all performances at the Servus International Pavilion are included with admission:

  • Powwow – dancers and drummers will fill the Exhibition Hall with the spirit of Indigenous culture at 2:00, 4:00, and 6:00 p.m. daily
