Brian Sutter and company are back this weekend for the 25th annual Sutter Fund Golf Tournament, all in support of families and local sports initiatives.

The event begins with a silent and live auction Thursday night at the Gasoline Alley Holiday Inn, and then wraps with the tournament Friday at River Bend.

Each day will feature many a celebrity and sports personality, all of whom Sutter says will be happy to give you an autograph.

Thursday night’s auction is open to the public.

“Sports teaches kids to be together and get along, look each other in the eye, work hard, be accountable and treat people with respect,” says Sutter on the fundraiser’s objective.

Accountability and respect are two of the most important words in life, which is why sports are such a big part of society, and we need them right now. We want the community to come out and be a part of it, so come and look at the auction items, which are absolutely unique.”

The event Thursday starts at 7 p.m.

Items will include but are far from limited to signed jerseys from Jarome Iginla, Bo Horvat and Shea Weber.
