Night Market in Capstone launches this Friday

A new evening shopping and entertainment experience is coming to Red Deer.

On July 15, from 6-10 p.m., the Night Market in Capstone will overlook the Red Deer River at Canada 150 Square.

A pop-up urban night market will feature food trucks, live music from Jaydin Vonkeman, and one-of-a-kind artisan vendors.

There will also be aerial artists from Red Deer Pole Academy.

“We created this event because we wanted something fun to do in Red Deer that would get people out of the house and enjoying our beautiful city,” says Heidi Hastings, who co-created the event with Kelly Tibbets.

Hastings says the plan is for the event to grow and be recurring, with future dates set for August 19 and September 16.
