Wetaskiwin men charged in Ponoka man’s death
Two Wetaskiwin residents have been charged following the death of a young Ponoka man last week.
On July 8, 2022, at 8:25 p.m., Wetaskiwin RCMP responded to a report of an altercation on 40 Avenue, east of 56 Street in Wetaskiwin.
When first responders arrived on scene they located a male with life threatening injuries. Mounties say the victim, identified as Antwon Bull, 19, of Ponoka, AB, succumbed to his injuries later that evening in hospital.
The subsequent investigation resulted in the Alberta RCMP’s Major Crimes Unit charging two males with one count each of second degree murder.
