Ponoka’s Community-Wide Garage Sale planned this August

The Town of Ponoka will be hosting its second annual Community-Wide Garage Sale event on August 12 – 14.

Ponoka residents are being invited to this town-wide event to host a garage or yard sale as an opportunity to sell unwanted items and explore new-to-you treasures across the community.

“We are excited to organize another community-wide garage sale event that will not only be a lot of fun for the community, but is also expected to attract visitors from surrounding areas to Ponoka,” said Andrew Jones, Manager of Parks, Recreation and Facilities for the Town. “Last summer, the community-wide garage sale had a strong turnout and was a great success.”

To participate, residents simply need to set up their own garage or yard sale at their home. Vendors can choose to operate on one or all three days.
