Two people killed in crash near Trochu
Sadly, two people have died following a motor vehicle collision in central Alberta.
RCMP say it was about 10 p.m. on June 17 when the crash occurred on Highway 21, just north of Trochu — about 90 km southeast of Red Deer.
“Investigation has revealed that two cars were northbound on Highway 21 when the second rear-ended the first, causing it to drive across the road where it was hit by an oncoming semi truck,” RCMP say in a release. “The two occupants of the first car, a 20-year-old female and a 21-year-old male, were declared deceased at the scene.”
The investigation into this collision continues.
