Ponoka recognizing Pride Month with colourful display

The Town of Ponoka is marking Pride Month throughout the month of June.

Pride colours will be projected onto the outside of the Ponoka Civic Centre each evening, from sunset to sunrise.

“Ponoka is a diverse community, and we believe that all people should feel respected, valued and included,” said Ponoka Mayor Kevin Ferguson. “Projecting lights on the outside of the Ponoka Civic Centre is an act of celebrating Ponoka’s diversity and showing support for the LGBTQ+ community.”
