Brooks RCMP investigate three deaths, including infant

Brooks RCMP and the RCMP Major Crimes Unit are investigating the deaths of a woman, her infant daughter and a man believed to be her sibling.

Police say they were called to Newell County at about 8 p.m. May 7, to follow a report of a woman and child found deceased in their home.

“The father of the child arrived home and discovered the bodies of the 29 year old woman and their 8 month old daughter,” an RCMP news release stated.

Police say a search of the area a short distance away located a deceased male, who appears to have died from self inflicted injuries.
