Black Knight Inn tower coming down

After 45 years of populating the Red Deer skyline, the tower of the Black Knight Inn is getting torn down.
Though demolition of the hotel began several months ago, the structure of the hotel room tower is now being dismantled.
The famous local landmark has hosted countless conferences, conventions, meetings, dinner theatres, fundraising galas and many more events throughout the years, with many central Albertans fondly remembering Remington Grill’s famous steak sandwich.
The site’s future has yet to be determined.
