Stettler resident charged with manslaughter

Stettler RCMP are investigating a homicide in the east central Alberta town.

Mounties say they received a report of a deceased person at a home on 50A Avenue in Stettler on April 14.

Police have charged a 22-year-old man named Byron Ervin Dinsmore, from Stettler, with manslaughter with a firearm, and indignity to a body.

Dinsmore is to appear in a Red Deer courtroom on April 21.

The victim is a 33-year-old male, police say. His name is not being released.
