Preliminary hearing set for fourth individual charged in local drug and stolen items seizure

Apr 12, 2022 | 11:51 AM

A preliminary hearing date has now been set for a fourth individual charged in a significant drug, weapons, and stolen property seizure in Red Deer last year.

Richard Dryborough-Browes, 51, of Red Deer, will join Anthony James White, 42, Stephanie Johnson, 38, and Keira Marie Hopkins, 23, all of Red Deer, on Sept. 29, 2022, to see if their case has enough evidence to go to trial.

All four were charged in June 2021 after local Mounties searched a property in Red Deer’s Riverside Meadows the month before and found a large amount of illicit drugs, weapons, and stolen property.

RCMP’s investigation into the property began in late April 2021.
