Pop-up library location to hold grand opening April 13

Red Deer Public Library has opened its first ever “pop-up library” for a six-month term at Bower Place Shopping Centre.

Please join us in celebrating the occasion next Wednesday, April 13 at 10 am. RDPL is located in the mall across from American Eagle, towards Hudson’s Bay.

Open during all regular mall hours, customers can visit our Bower Mall pop-up library to sign up for a new library card or renew their existing membership, which is free for Red Deer residents.

They can browse and borrow library materials from the pop-up collection (which includes books, movies, puzzles, kits, literacy backpacks, and more), attend a library program, or bring their children to enjoy playing and reading in our children’s corner.

Library staff will be available to tell customers about our full suite of library programs, collections, services, and resources, including information about our three permanent library locations.
