Vesta Energy Ltd. acquires naming rights to Lacombe’s Eastside Recreation Area
Lacombe city council has approved a proposal from Vesta Energy Ltd. to purchase the exclusive naming rights to the community’s Eastside Recreation Area, creating the new Vesta Energy Fish & Fetch Park.
City officials say Vesta’s approved proposal is for $17,500 per year over a seven-year term, with an option to renew before the agreement’s conclusion.
“Lacombe city council is excited to have a proven local business like Vesta Energy take on the naming rights for the Eastside Recreation Area,” said Mayor Grant Creasey. “Vesta’s commitment to their local community is to be commended, and I know Lacombe dog owners, fish and game enthusiasts, and outdoor lovers of all kinds will enjoy the Vesta Energy Fish & Fetch Park for years to come.”
“Vesta Energy is thrilled to participate in the Eastside Recreation Area development project. Supporting the development of community outdoor activity space fits perfectly with our sponsorship platform that is targeted to support and enrich the local communities in which we operate. We look forward to the opening and use of Lacombe’s latest recreational area, the Vesta Energy Fish & Fetch Park,” said Mark Lansing, Vesta’s VP HSE & Sustainability.
