Kate Syson selected as new principal for Stettler Elementary School
Clearview Public Schools has announced that Kate Syson has been selected as the new principal of Stettler Elementary School (SES).
Officials say the appointment is effective at the end of the school year when current principal, Sharon Fischer retires. Syson has been serving as the school’s vice principal.
“Kate is passionate about SES. She is well-loved and respected in the school and community,” says Brenda MacDonald, Clearview Superintendent. “Kate’s connections with individual students and staff members is one of her strengths. She is focused on community and has a strong vision for the future. We are confident in Kate’s leadership and we are excited to see her in action as she takes on this new role.”
“I have been dreaming about this opportunity,” says Syson. “I feel like SES is my home and I deeply care about all of the students that call this place their school, and for the staff who work at SES.”
