Red Deer Polytechnic to hold in-person Convocation June 3

After two years of online ceremonies, Red Deer Polytechnic has announced it will once again be hosting an in-person Convocation for its graduates this June.

RDP officials say this year marks a special milestone in several ways, as it is the institution’s 58th Convocation and also the first as Red Deer Polytechnic, making the in-person event even more meaningful.

“Convocation truly is the pinnacle of achievement for our students when they complete their programs, and it’s such a meaningful event for people from across our institution and community,” says Jim Brinkhurst, Interim President. “It’s a joyful celebration, and we look forward to sharing that joy with our graduates and their families again this year.”

Convocation 2022

• Friday, June 3
• Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre, located on main campus (see map)
• There will be a morning and an afternoon ceremony. Details about what Schools and programs will be featured in each ceremony will be announced at the end of March.
