Red Deer Home Show back at Westerner Park this weekend

Spending the past two years predominantly at home, you may have noticed some necessary, real or desired, home improvements to be made.

One way to get ideas this weekend is at the Red Deer Home Show.

With a two year hiatus from spring and winter shows, the event is back at Westerner Park where over 100 exhibitors in home building, renovations, landscaping, gardening experts, and more will be under one roof.

Beginning this Friday from noon to 8 p.m., the show will also take place on March 5 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and March 6 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Apart from products, ideas and décor, there will also be various prizes for attendees to enter to win.

Tickets can be bought at a discount online or at the door at regular price. General admission is $12 or $10 for seniors over the age of 60. Children under 12 accompanied by an adult can enter for free.

Since 1979, Building Industry and Land Development- Central Alberta (BILD) has been hosting the event. The association represents the region’s residential construction industry, advocating though information sharing and maintaining industry standards.
