Premier to make health system capacity announcement for Red Deer

Alberta Premier Jason Kenney will make an announcement Wednesday morning on building health system capacity for the future in Red Deer.

The announcement will take place at the Gary W. Harris Centre and is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m..

Participants include:

• Jason Kenney, Premier
• Travis Toews, Minister of Finance and President of Treasury Board
• Jason Copping, Minister of Health
• Prasad Panda, Minister of Infrastructure
• Adriana LaGrange, Minister of Education and MLA for Red Deer-North
• Ken Johnston, mayor, City of Red Deer
• Red Deer Regional Health Foundation representative
• Janice Stewart, chief zone officer, Alberta Health Services

The announcement will be livestreamed to alberta.ca/news and Premier Kenney’s Facebook page and Twitter account.
