Preliminary hearing scheduled for Red Deer woman charged in missing Grande Prairie man’s death
A Red Deer woman charged in the death of a missing Grande Prairie man last year will find out later this summer if her case has enough evidence to go to trial.
Brianna Ruf-Dietz, 32, is scheduled for a preliminary hearing in Wetaskiwin provincial court July 28-29, 2022.
Alberta RCMP Major Crimes, along with the assistance of Maskwacis RCMP and the Edmonton Police Service (EPS), arrested Ruf-Dietz in Edmonton on Oct. 12, 2021.
Maskwacis RCMP say she was arrested following the results of an autopsy in March of last year, in which Alberta RCMP Major Crimes identified human remains as belonging to missing person, Tyler Johnson, a 26-year-old male from Grande Prairie.
