Alberta Major Crimes Unit investigate suspicious death

Investigators are looking into the cause of a suspicious death in central Alberta last week.

On Jan. 28, at approximately 10:00 p.m., Maskwacis RCMP responded to a 911 call to assist EMS at a residence on the Louis Bull Cree Nation in Alberta.

Upon arrival, it was discovered that 26 year-old Kirby Brown, of Maskwacis, AB was deceased. Police say the circumstances surrounding his death are deemed to be suspicious.

The Alberta Major Crimes Unit is investigating, with an autopsy to be conducted in the coming days.
