Alberta Sports Hall of Fame to induct Class of 2020 on Jan. 30

Last minute registration is still available for the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame’s 2020 virtual induction ceremony.

The event takes place 4 p.m. on Jan. 30.

Registration, which is free, is available on eventbrite.

“We are finally able to honour these 13 extraordinary Albertans who have made an impact on sport in our province, country, and around the world. This class of inductees was to be honoured in May 2020,” the Hall says.

“The event not only honours these great Albertans, but it also recognizes the importance of sport in our lives and communities.”
