Province to announce plans to address emergency medical services pressures

Health Minister Jason Copping and Alberta Health Services officials will announce measures today to address demands on the emergency medical services system.

Participants include:

• Jason Copping, Minister of Health
• R.J. Sigurdson, MLA for Highwood
• Tracy Allard, MLA for Grande Prairie
• Darren Sandbeck, chief paramedic and senior provincial director, Emergency Medical Services, Alberta Health Services
• Dr. Mark McKenzie, emergency physician and senior medical director, Emergency Medical Services, Alberta Health Services
