Charges laid after Innisfail antique store robbery

Charges have been in laid in relation to an alleged break & enter in Innisfail.

RCMP say it was on Nov. 18 when members were called to a break & enter at a local antique store.

It was determined that a collection of antique coins and paper currency was stolen.

On Nov. 30, a quantity of the stolen currency was recovered during an unrelated investigation. Some of the coins remain outstanding, however there are no pictures.

Three people were arrested — a 21-year-old male from Penhold, a 33-year-old male from Innisfail, and a 37-year-old woman from Olds — and remanded into custody on other matters. They are each charged with one count of possession of stolen property for the purpose of trafficking.
