Ponoka RCMP arrest two after grocery store break and enter

Two Ponoka men are facing charges following a break and enter to a local grocery store.
On Dec. 26, 2021, Ponoka RCMP received a complaint of an alarm at the IGA on 50 St in Ponoka.
While RCMP were en-route, they located one of the suspects who, after a short foot pursuit, was arrested. Mounties say a second suspect was followed to a nearby residence where police located and arrested him a short time later.
A 51 year-old man has been charged with break and enter, possession of break in instruments, and resist arrest. Meanwhile, a 21 year-old man has been charged with break and enter, and possession of break in instruments.
