Temporary road closure on 46 Street in Ponoka

Officials with the Town of Ponoka say there is a temporary road closure on 46 Street just south of Highway 53 as crews work to repair a water service line in that location.

The road closure will remain in place until the work is complete.

Traffic is being detoured around Rotary Park onto 37 Avenue and 45 Street. Local motorists are asked to please follow detour signs.

Motorists are also reminded to drive with caution in construction zones and observe road signs and traffic safety personnel.
