Red Deer with 81 active cases of COVID-19
Alberta Health is reporting 81 active cases of COVID-19 in Red Deer, up five from Monday.
This brings the total number of coronavirus cases identified in the city since the start of the pandemic to 9,453 – up 13 from Monday. Recoveries, meanwhile, have increased by seven over the past day to 9,288.
Red Deer’s active case rate per 100k is now 76.1, which compares to a rate of 86.6 in Calgary, 59.2 in Edmonton, and 94.4 in Lethbridge.
One more COVID-related death has also been reported in Red Deer, bringing the virus’ death toll in our city to 84.
