Sylvan Laker wins after going all in on lotto ticket

A Sylvan Lake man is celebrating after winning big on a lotto ticket recently.

Shaun Lagouette added the ALL IN to his POKER LOTTO ticket, a $1 add-on which increased his prize from $10,000 to $163,293.80.

“It was an instant win, but I couldn’t believe it when I saw the amount on the screen,” he said. “I was ecstatic!”

Lagouette has a couple ideas for what to do with the windfall, including paying off bills, and saving what’s leftover.

He’d also like to do some travelling, he adds.

Lagouette purchased his POKER LOTTO ALL IN ticket on November 4 from the CNRL-Richardson Lodge Camp, located inside CNRL Horizon Camp in Fort McMurray. One of the hands on his ticket matched a Royal Flush, winning $10,000, plus the $153,293.80 ALL IN jackpot.
