Local Mounties are hoping you can help them identify a suspect in an alleged firearms pointing incident.

On Nov. 12, at approximately 12:41 a.m., Blackfalds RCMP responded to a 911 call following a firearms pointing incident in the area of Range Road 252 near Highway 11 in Red Deer County.

Police say the victim was parked on the side of the road when an unknown male suspect in a white Cadillac SUV pulled up beside the victim’s car and an interaction occurred. The male suspect backed his SUV up and parked behind the victim’s vehicle before exiting the SUV then allegedly grabbed what appeared to be a firearm and pointed it at the victim. The victim left the area and was not physically injured.

Blackfalds RCMP made patrols in the area; however, were unable to locate the suspect or suspect vehicle.

The suspect is described as male, 50 – 60 years of age, approximately 5’3” tall, and last seen wearing a white t-shirt.

Blackfalds RCMP utilized an RCMP Forensic Facial Imaging Artist to complete a composite sketch of the suspect.
