Spectators now allowed at indoor RDP sports events

Starting Oct. 29, spectators are once again permitted to attend indoor sports events at Red Deer Polytechnic.

That includes volleyball, basketball and hockey.

Spectators will be subject to the school’s vaccination program, meaning you must:

-Provide government-issued ID, proof of a vaccination record or proof of a negative rapid test (taken within 72 hours of arrival) to staff at the Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre entrances, upon arrival

-Wear a face coverings at all times

-Maintain physical distancing with others, whenever possible

Admission is by donation only, with all proceeds being directed to student-athlete scholarships.

There will be limited services available this weekend at games, meaning no food and beverage. RDP says plans are underway to add food and beverage services during games as soon as possible.
