Red Deer down to 353 active cases of COVID-19
As of Wednesday, Alberta is reporting 3,073 COVID-linked deaths since the pandemic began, including 10 today.
It was a week ago the province surpassed the 3,000 death mark.
A COVID-linked fatality means the disease was determined to be either the primary or secondary cause of death.
Meantime, the active caseload is now 8,733, down 534 in the last day, and 2,091 over the last week. This with the province adding 645 cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. The province also did 11,343 tests in the last day, with a seven-day positivity rate of 6.14 per cent.
