County reminds public that campaign sign vandalism is illegal

Over the Thanksgiving long weekend, Red Deer County received reports of election signs being vandalized.

Nancy Lougheed, Returning Officer, is asking the public “to please be respectful of the democratic process and not to touch campaign signage, charges could be brought against persons caught in the act.”
