Westerner Park offering COVID-19 testing at CFR47

Officials with Westerner Park in Red Deer have announced they are collaborating with Precede Occupational Health Services Inc. to provide COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Testing for the Canadian Finals Rodeo (CFR) next month.

Testing will be provided from Nov. 1-7.

With the Restrictions Exemption Program in place for CFR, either proof of complete vaccination or a negative Rapid Antigen Test is required. You can visit the Westerner Park website for complete details.

“We are pleased to have Precede Occupational Health Services as our trusted provider, to ensure people have the option to provide a negative test to attend CFR” stated Mike Olesen, Chief Executive Officer, Westerner Park, in a press release. “We hope that having this service onsite will help to make the process easier for people to come to the rodeo.”

Precede Occupational Health Services CEO, Kevin Balaneski, concurs, adding “The Rapid Antigen Test will qualify not only for entry into the CFR, but is effective for 72 hours, allowing the individual to take in all of the other experiences in Red Deer such as shopping and restaurants.”

The COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Testing will be offered at $40 in the Westerner Park Chalet:

Monday, Nov 1: 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Tuesday, Nov 2: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00.p.m.

Wednesday, Nov 3: 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Thursday Nov 4: 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Friday Nov 5: 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Saturday Nov 6: 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Sunday Nov 7: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
