RCMP reminds motorists to be thankful for safe drivers this long weekend

October is here, and with it comes Thanksgiving. During this time of year there is an increase of people travelling.

The Innisfail Integrated Traffic Unit (ITU) wants to remind everyone using the roads to always have safety in mind whenever they get into a vehicle.

Mounties ask you to remember to buckle your seatbelt, and ensure children are properly restrained in the vehicle according to their age and size.

Never drink, or consume marijuana, and drive.

Drivers should also pay attention to the road, refrain from aggressive driving, and distracted driving at all times.
