Red Deer with 818 active cases of COVID-19
There are 818 active cases of COVID-19 in Red Deer as of Tuesday, down 86 from Monday.
On Sept. 27, Red Deer hit a new record of 915, breaking its previous record of 911 set at the height of the third wave.
According to the latest stats released by Alberta Health, recoveries in Red Deer rose by 87 to 7,392. While the number of coronavirus cases identified in the city since the start of the pandemic is now 8,277 – up three from Monday.
Red Deer’s active case rate is 768.8 per 100k population. That compares to Edmonton at 264.4 per 100k, and Calgary at 239.2 per 100k.
