Upcoming Innisfail business survey first part of retention and expansion program

Oct 3, 2021 | 10:00 AM

The Innisfail Chamber of Commerce and Town of Innisfail are conducting a business survey later this month.

The survey aims to gather insight into challenges businesses are facing and identify opportunities to help them.

“The community highly values our local businesses, so we are reaching out to hear how they are doing and learn what we can do to help,” says Patricia Borne, local business leader and Chair of the Innisfail Community Economic Development Advisory Committee.

Volunteers will lead a survey blitz from Oct. 19-23 with business visits, emails and phone calls.

The survey is the first part of what the Town and Chamber are calling an exciting Business Retention and Expansion Program.

“The Chamber is excited to partner with the Town on this important initiative to support the business community” says Chamber President Tyrel Robinson. “Together, with the help of local partners, we can support the people that make this community a great place to live, work and play.”

Prospective volunteers for the survey blitz should contact Chamber Manager Carla Gabert at 403-227-1177 or email ichamber@telus.net.
