Didsbury RCMP investigating armed robbery in Cremona

Mounties in Didsbury are hoping you can help them identify an armed robbery suspect.

On Oct. 2, at 10:25 a.m., Didsbury RCMP responded to an armed robbery in Cremona.

Preliminary investigation revealed an unknown male entered a business with a knife and a can of bear spray and demanded money from the employee.

Upon further investigation, it was learned that the unknown male fled in what is believed to be an older model, black Ford F-150 without a licence plate. The vehicle was seen on surveillance traveling north on Highway 22.

The male suspect is described as approximately 6’1” tall, with an average build, medium complexion and dressed in a dark hoodie, ball cap, sunglasses, gloves and a bandana covering his face.
