Tickets are now on sale for the 47th Canadian Finals Rodeo (CFR) November 3-7.

Fans can take in any or all of the six performances that feature the best rodeo contestants competing in the final event of the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association season.

There’s a range of ticket prices so everyone can get in on the rodeo action, and in addition to the regular seating available at the Peavey Mart Centrium, rodeo fans can also choose to purchase premium seats. Westerner Park officials say these cushioned seats are enclosed by privacy draping and provide exclusive bar service, giving CFR guests the opportunity to experience rodeo performances from a first-class vantage point.

The Restrictions Exemption Program, which requires either proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative PCR or rapid test, is in effect for all events at Westerner Park, including CFR. Requirement details can be found at the Westerner Park site.

Chief Executive Officer for Westerner Park Mike Olesen, says it’s exciting to be able to once again plan for the CRF.

“The provincial government’s Restrictions Exemption Program allows us to safely host all rodeo fans, up to Westerner Park’s full capacity for this.”

All major pro-rodeo events will take place at each performance including Bareback, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Saddle Bronc, Tie-Down Roping, Ladies Barrel Racing, and Bull Riding. Fans will also enjoy Junior Steer Riding, Novice Saddle Bronc and Bareback Riding, and Breakaway Roping at select performances.

Officials hope to see everyone get in the CFR spirit and join the celebration by taking in all of the free onsite events each day, including a Cabaret with live music, Buckle Presentations, Contestant Hot-Stoves, Autograph Signings, a First-Class Tradeshow, and more.

Parking is also free, allowing easy come-and-go access to Westerner Park and all of the dining and tourism activities in the central Alberta area.

Individual performance tickets are now on sale at Tickets Alberta.
