A COVID-19 update is coming the way of Albertans Wednesday night (Sept. 15) at 6 p.m.

Alberta Premier Jason Kenney, CMOH Dr. Deena Hinshaw, Health Minister Tyler Shandro, and AHS President and CEO Dr. Verna Yiu will all be present. The update was announced just after 2:20 Wednesday afternoon.

There will be questions from reporters.

The live update comes as a fourth wave of the COVID-19 pandemic has put the province’s health care system on the brink of collapse.
