Red Deer City Hall to light up gold for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month
Sep 1, 2021 | 12:32 PM
Red Deer City Hall will be one of three locations in central Alberta Wednesday evening that will light up gold to mark Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
The Wadey Centre in Blackfalds and Sylvan Lake Lighthouse will also be lit up gold on Sept. 1, with 10 other buildings and landmarks throughout the province lighting up as well, in addition to the Calgary Tower on Sept. 6.
If you’re out and see a gold-lit structure, you’re encouraged to take a photo, and share and tag the Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta to raise awareness and support for Alberta children affected by cancer.
