The Red Deer Rebels have made a trade with Eastern Conference rival Prince Albert.

GM Brent Sutter announced this week that 19-year-old Keaton Sorensen is joining the Raiders in exchange for a conditional pick in the 2022 Western Hockey League Prospects Draft.

A Red Deer native, Sorensen had two assists in 23 games for the Rebels in 2020-21, and 14 points (7G, 7A) in 53 games for Red Deer in 2019-20.

Sorensen previously played for the Notre Dame Hounds U18 AAA program in Saskatchewan, joining its SJHL (Jr. A) parent club for three games in 2018-19.
