Traffic disruption on Taylor Drive southbound

Red Deer drivers are being advised of an upcoming traffic disruption on Taylor Drive.

The disruption will be southbound from Oleander Drive to Taylor Drive Bridge as crews complete roadway improvements.

Starting at 7:00 p.m. on Aug. 4 to 6:00 a.m. on Aug. 5, as well as from 7:00 p.m. on Aug. 5 to 6:00 a.m. on Aug. 6, traffic on Taylor Drive southbound will be reduced to one lane from Oleander Drive to Taylor Drive Bridge for pavement milling.

Paving will take place on Aug. 7 during the day. Detours will be marked on site.

Motorists are reminded to slow down in construction areas and obey all signs. All road construction is weather dependent and schedules may be subject to change.
