Red Deer’s McBeth becomes detachment commander for Leduc RCMP
A long-time member of the RCMP in central Alberta is moving on.
Jeff McBeth, who most recently held the title of Staff Sergeant in Sylvan Lake, is now the Inspector and Detachment Commander for RCMP in Leduc.
A member for 21 years, McBeth has also served in his hometown of Red Deer, as well as Strathmore, Chestermere, Leduc, Drayton Valley, Breton and Fox Creek.
“Insp. McBeth will focus on crime reduction, traffic safety and continued efforts to promote and develop strong ties between the RCMP and the community at large,” a release states. “He will be engaged in the needs and expectations of the detachment and the City of Leduc and surrounding communities.”
