Dr. Hinshaw shares final scheduled COVID update

Dr. Deena Hinshaw is set to deliver her last scheduled COVID-19 update this afternoon.

After today, Alberta’s chief medical officer of health will share updates only when they are deemed necessary.

Today’s news conference is slated for 3:30 p.m. You can watch it live here once it begins.

Yesterday, the province reported just 31 new cases out of about 4500 tests done on Sunday.

Alberta has just under 1300 active cases. Red Deer is down to 28.

Stage 3 of Alberta’s Open for Summer Plan that will see nearly all public health restrictions lifted is set to commence this Thursday, July 1.
