The Mustard Seed in desperate need of bottled water

The Mustard Seed says it is facing an emergency situation as they have run out of bottled water to support those living on the streets in Red Deer.

“With temperatures reaching close to 40 degrees over the next week, those individuals out all day on the street are about to face another heatwave< the agency says in a release.

“Please donate water bottles for relief from dehydration, heat exhaustion, heatstroke, or worse. We have already gone through a few hundred of cases of water within the last week; the need is urgent.”

Donations can be dropped off in Red Deer at 6002 54 Avenue between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday to Friday.
