Red Deer sees lowest active caseload since November, 0 new cases
For the first time since Oct. 6, Red Deer has added zero new cases of COVID-19 over a 24-hour period.
The total stands at 5,736, while recoveries went up by 11 to 5,623.
Meantime, Red Deer is down to 73 active cases of COVID-19 as of Friday, according to the latest numbers from the province.
That’s down 11 from Thursday’s total of 84, and continues a downward trend that began after the city peaked at 911 active cases on May 8. That’s the lowest total since Nov. 4 when there was 63. That was at the very start of Red Deer’s first wave.
