Blackfalds RCMP are looking for a pair of suspects accused of stealing a truck, trying to steal gas and causing a four vehicle crash at the traffic circle in Blackfalds last week.

During the early morning of June 9, a 2017 Ford F350 was stolen out of Blackfalds.

Mounties say two males then attended the Co-op card lock fuel station in the Queens industrial area in the stolen vehicle and attempted to use the victim’s card to get gas.

Later that day, the F350 was reported driving erratically, northbound on Highway 2A. It allegedly caused a four vehicle accident at the traffic circle in Blackfalds when it merged and struck a jeep that in turn, struck other vehicles. Minor injuries were reported and those involved were treated on scene.

Police say the F350 did not stop at the scene of the accident and was later recovered unoccupied in Blackfalds.

The suspects can be described as:

  • Suspect 1 (Driver) – Male, mid 30s, slim, short hair possibly a Mohawk, wears glasses.
  • Suspect 2 (Passenger) – Male, mid 30s, short, medium build.
