Alberta RCMP recognizes the important work of Canada’s Public Service
Edmonton – This year, National Public Service Week is June 13-19. This is a week that takes time to recognize the exceptional contributions of Canada’s public service employees (PSE) throughout the federal government. With 826 individuals in Forensics, Telecommunications, IT, Human Resources, and more, the public service is crucial to the work of the Alberta RCMP.
Public servants provide a variety of valuable skills and services that not only assist frontline members in their work, but also support the needs of Albertans each and every day. Individuals that make up the public service play a critical role in promoting crime reduction and upholding public safety in the communities we serve.

A PSE background opens individuals up to diverse opportunities within the federal government, allowing for continued learning and advancement.
