Red Deer man arrested in Drayton Valley for parole violations, drug possession
A 48-year-old Red Deer area man has been arrested in Drayton Valley for parole violations and possessing various drugs for trafficking.
It was on Wednesday that members of the Drayton Valley RCMP attended a local address looking for a male on an outstanding Canada-Wide arrest warrant.
Mark Louis Pratt was arrested and after further investigation, police located a quantity of illegal drugs.
Police executed a search warrant at the residence and located further evidence of drug trafficking, leading to six new counts against Pratt for possession of fentanyl, cocaine, meth and magic mushrooms for the purpose of trafficking, possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and possession of a weapon contrary to prohibition order.
