Lacombe Memorial Centre to relax more restrictions

As part Stage 2 of the Alberta’s Open for Summer Plan, the Lacombe Memorial Centre (LMC) is now available for event bookings including small weddings and funerals without receptions.

General public access to the lobby is scheduled for Friday, June 11.

Physical distancing, masking and disinfection protocols remain in effect until Stage 3 of the provincial plan. Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms, recent international travel, or recent close contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19 are not enter the LMC.

The facility has posted procedures for entering, using and leaving the LMC. Staff will set up rooms in a modified way to adhere to provincial health requirements, and occupancy limits are updated for all rooms as well as one-way traffic measures in specified areas. Please respect all wall gates, dividers, and stanchions in place to direct visitors.

Other amenities in the building are open Friday, June 11, accessible using the LMC’s north western doors at the parking lot, or the south patio doors from Lest We Forget Park:

– Anna Maria’s Café Summer hours are 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Monday-Friday, plus special events.

– The Mary C Moore Library, see www.lacombelibrary.com for up to date information: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday 1-8 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
